Bibi is a Posse Scholar and Carleton College graduate with a degree in Chemistry and a concentration in Biochemistry. Initially aspiring to become a doctor, her life’s journey led her to a new purpose—empowering others through beauty.

In 2011, she founded One Stop Salon Chicago, where she mastered nails, lashes, and, later, permanent makeup.

Bibi’s passion for education led her to become a dually licensed Illinois Nails and Esthetics Instructor in 2018. In 2020, she launched One Stop Beauty School. As a first-generation Vietnamese American and former refugee, she understands the power of second chances.

To give back, she founded One Stop Beauty Foundation DBA The Olivia Mae Lotus Scholarship, creating opportunities for survivors of addiction, trauma and returning citizens.  She believes in the transformative power of education and vocational training to break the cycle of trauma and poverty. She strives to create a ripple effect of positive change in our communities by supporting deserving individuals on their journey to self-sufficiency and empowerment.
